quite possibly the last outing my boyfriend coat will get for a while since the sun (albeit temperamental) has arrived! I picked up this cute tee in american apparel while I was in new york, it's an oversized fit so stupidly comfortable and easy to wear tucked into skirts or shorts! since I went for such casual attire I layered on a truck load of accessories from stacking rings to chunky necklaces (I have a little bit of an accessory addiction at the minute!) topped off with my belt to give it some definition. all in all a very lazy out & about kinda outfit!  new york is for lovers tee:  american apparel heart print skirt & boyfriend coat: primark both necklaces & rings: topshop double studded cuff & casio watch:  urban outfitters leather satchel: topshop (old) sunglasses: h&m nails: nails inc 'primrose hill gardens' back soon! caroline x

cold days call for comfort! that's exactly what I had whilst I was away, so my go-to uniform consisted of layers (in fact so many layers that I began to resemble an onion!) I'm baaaaack!  I wish I could have stayed in new york but it's always nice to be reunited with my bed and proper cups of tea! I thought I should take some outfit photos whilst I was away (in between eating too many pancakes, squealing at every yellow taxi and generally being as excited as a 5yr old in a sweet shop) I'll pop them up over the next few weeks (it makes a nice change to have some outdoor photos again hurrah!)  well the first day was sunny but a little bit chilly so I layered up like a snowman (this was a reoccurring theme!) I wore one of my old vintage denim shirts, my fave urban outfitters sweater and my go-to topshop leigh jeans.  my boohoo faur fur is my absolute favourite coat this year so it had to come along for the trip too.
