velvet world dress : c/o mee mee fedora: topshop backpack: topshop studded boots: old eeeeeep I finally have some velvet in my wardrobe! every season tartan and velvet seem to be a staple in autumn/winter trends and I massively regretted not investing in a velvet dress last season! this little number is from the new arrivals at meemee and it was velvet & sheer winner at first sight.. it had a hint of gothic fairytale but still looked wearable. I'm not a huge fan of big sheer panels but subtle ones get the thumbs up for me; I'll mostly wear this dress layered up with jumpers, tights and chunky boots so it'll be quite versatile this winter (no doubt It'll pop up on here again soon!)  I'm already looking forward to layering up again (and probably eating my way into hibernation) is that wrong? anyone else excited to whip out the knits? caroline x shop the look:

well this is a pretty simple outfit; sometimes I like to keep it clean and then add a blingtastic amount of jewellery to balance it out aha! I love my comfy basic tees; I have five of these topshop ones in different colours that I've somehow collected over the past year! I often just wear them with my jeans and a blazer (and also with my pj's on lazy weekends) ...definitely my lazy fashion option! this khaki colour is the latest one I've purchased and slightly over sized- perfect for the post christmas bulge aha! I picked up this h&m striped skirt in the sale for  a bargain price of £7 and I'm hoping it will be a summer staple in my wardrobe this year!  I adore my bag; I'm a sucker for a little bit of fashion novelty! it was actually a christmas present from my sister but I've found an identical one from one of my favourite shops chelsea doll when I was looking through their site last week. bowler hat: h&m old, similar one at  topshop   khaki tee:  topsh...
