hey guys! here's the latest installment of currently lovin' (with it's usual collection of completely random things!) I've been buying little bits and bobs lately in the misguided attempt to not overspend this month. yep this backfired as I just ended up spending a small fortune in paperchase instead! (note to self I do NOT need any more notebooks) I shall attempt to reign in my growing stationary addiction but in the meantime here's some of my most loved things this week: 1. palmers cocoa butter body scrub : my mum purchased this little beauty and I 'borrowed' it a few days ago... holy lord this is the best smelling creation ever! close your eyes, it's like scrubbing with chocolate mousse (weird but good!) it's not the grainiest scrub but it smells so damn good I don't care! 2. enamel floral mug, urban outfitters sale:  I tend to top up on accessories and cute little trinkets when the UO sale lands. this little mug caught my eye a few months ago...

it's father days and true to form I'm about to make a frantic dash to the shops for an hour of panic buying! I always struggle with fathers day gifts as pops hates us spending money on him (which makes us want to spoil him all the more) so before I embark on mission 'what to buy dad' a quick outfit post..  this candy coloured number is from karma clothing who've kindly invited me to be involved in their summer look book; the theme was festival ready so I thought it would be the ideal time to wear my flower crown.. yipee!  I umm'd and ahhh'd over what clothes to pick and finally settled on these adorable pink dungarees. I really wasn't sure if they'd suit me; I've tried on loads of dungarees and often find them too tight and short for my liking! these have completely restored my faith in dungarees shorts and playsuits, hallelujah!!! the cotton is really light and wearable, perfect for daytime, I'm glad I opted for pink as it's not a colou...

drumroll... today I've teamed up with urban outfitters  to bring you my latest outfit post* EXCITING! I'm a happy bunny this week; the summer has finally arrived and top of my agenda was to wear my new summer dress in the hope of catching that elusive tan (yep still living in hope!)   I found it tricky to pick out a dress as there's so many I liked! the cut and details on the back finally swayed me to pick out this little beauty from pins & needles . I though the strap details were a nice nod to the camisole trend and it's just darn cute (it also comes in  pink ) I've always been a massive fan of UO which is why I was so excited about this post, it's full of independent and quirky labels and it's one of my favourite places to shop. if you're a vintage lover their urban renewal section is a dream (I'm still trying to find the perfect vintage levi cut off's so will no doubt be hopping about one legged trying on endless pairs shortly)  pins ...

well I've finally got round to sharing my giveaway (about time!) I wanted to organise one when I reached 800 followers (BIG thank you!!) but I decided to wait as I thought it would be nice to buy some things when I was in NYC and make it a bit more special. the only new item in this ensemble is my topshop spike cuff that I picked up the sale for £1.50 (hello bargain!) I purchased this jumper from new look quite a few months back and I still love it! elbow patches (aka geography teacher chic) are still high on my love list and it's a really easy item to pair with most of my wardrobe.   the skirt was a primark find and I'm always wearing it; no doubt it'll pop up again soon! I think it's one of those items I'll wear until it literally falls apart and I'm forced to find a replacement! I can't seem to shake my current love of stripes! I picked up this dress in primark last summer and it's one of my most worn dresses because it's so comfortable and easy to wear (nothing beats a good ol' jersey fabric in my book!) I was so excited when my parka from the lovely people at mee mee  arrived this week, it fits like a dream! I've been harbouring a crush on two tone jackets and have been umm-ing and ahh-ing about getting one for months! I swiftly bookmarked their website as it has a great selection of vintage items too (hurrah!) perfect for a high street/vintage kinda girl. my latest favourite purchase is my topshop rucksack! my bank balance heaved a sigh of relief as I was able to buy  it with some gift vouchers I was given at christmas.. phew thanks mom! I just wanted to show you some of my sales finds! I got this metallic boyfriend tee and aztec necklace in the  urban outfitters  sale and I haven't really had a chance to wear them yet!  I love the uo sales, I held out all through december as I knew their cute little gifts would be in the sales! I never knew I had such patience... and boy was it rewarded (50% off hurrah!!) anyway, earlier today I bought a little paperchase notebook that I'm going to fill with my blogging plans for the next few weeks so I'm off to grab myself a pen & cup of tea and get busy! hope you're all well! back soon  caroline xx
