been a while since i've shared some links huh? sorry about that, i've missed it so here i am again! so i have a pretty chilled weekend ahead fingers crossed, thanks to a week of torrential rain (apparently the weather did not get the memo that's it's june) we're all just relieved that it's dry enough to take gabe out to play at the park and stretch our legs again. i've actually managed to remember that it's fathers day on sunday so of course i've got to panic buy (or make?) something last minute for my pops (and gah, also for james! i still find it strange buying fathers day gifts for anyone other than my dad, is this normal?) we're hoping to squeeze in some chill time catching up on tv when gabe has gone to bed in the evenings, we've fallen behind on so many series we've resorted to writing up a list of shows we've not finished to encourage us to cram them in before the next series arrives. hope you've got something nice planned ...

happy weekend! the weeks are flying by at the minute aren't they? feel like it'll be christmas in about 2 weeks at this rate, gah. it's been a very gabe-centric week over here as everything seems to be happening together! his first tooth swiftly became 3 and now 4 and he FINALLY started to crawl (which i'm half happy/half sad about.) teething trouble aside james and i are heading to the cinema tonight (whoop) and we're going to attempt to repaint the kitchen over the weekend.  ...james doesn't know about the kitchen part yet, wish me luck! here's some stuff i've been reading this week: - utterly chilling, a must read.  - we're considering another paris trip and this just sealed the deal! - i love reading anything jackie o.   - not sure what i love more, the DIY or that sink? - nabbed me these desktop wallpapers, danke! have a great few days! back soon caroline x

happy friday! looking forward a pretty chilled weekend -how about you? i'm going to hang out with my family, run some errands and maybe squeeze in an ikea trip eeeeeeee! this week has been quite manic so it will be nice to have a more low key agenda for the next few days. i might also dust off my apron and get my bake on because our apple tree has delivered a mammoth amount of fruit (enough to make at least 30 apple crumbles. send help...or custard?)

well this weekend has flown by don't you think? (i've been meaning to put this post up since friday -yikes!) today i've been catching up on work but yesterday we managed to sneak a few hours to ourselves hunting for cute plants at garden centres and grabbing a bite to eat outside whilst the weather was nice! i've been feeling quite unmotivated lately so i've written up a mammoth to-do list which has totally inspired me to get back into the swing of thing this week. maybe just maybe i'll have a productive monday tomorrow...

happy friday guys! this week has flown by right? i guess the bank holiday has something to do with it, that and the fact i got sucked into rewatching all the games of thrones episodes (again.) i'm going to ireland this weekend and i can't wait to see my family! we're also going to see our wedding venue for the first time since we booked it and my parents are coming along too- i think that's when it will sink in that i should probably start planning stuff at some point, yikes.

friday! this week has been ace, mostly because i went to ikea on halloween and i managed to get a bunch of christmas DIY projects finished, yup for once i've actually been prepping in advance (ps. i'm ok to mention christmas now it's november right?) i've got some work projects to tackle over the weekend but i'll fit in some fun stuff in between so it sucks a little less... oh and i finally started working my way through the walking dead box set! i'm still way behind tho so i'm avoiding everyone who has ever given me a spoiler ever. have a great weekend! - this new show is mad but totally brilliant. - keeping an eye on this! - friday feels. - you had me at loungewear.. - i totally googled best sandwich ever when i was hungry. - anyone actually manage to buy any? back soon! caroline x

oh friday you've been missed. i don't have many plans this weekend which i'm mega excited about, an uneventful weekend is the best sometimes! i'm going to get my eyes tested again tomorrow so i can (finally) get contact lenses- huzzah. i caved and put on my central heating last night, jon snow was right winter is coming so hot chocolate and candle burning is pretty high on my agenda the next few days. i feel like i should go shopping for winter things too, you know like cosy socks and blankets. i get excited about that stuff so maybe i'll sneak that in somewhere...? have a lovely couple of days! -  coolest (+ slightly creepiest) soaps ever. - i can't even, this really tickled me. - leah is making me want to book a road trip. - so bad/good.  - learn how to say no more often! - dang, why can't we vote for her? back soon caroline x

gah, can't believe it's october already! we have another wedding to attend tomorrow so i'm heading to london tonight (yay.)  i'm mega excited to get to the hoxton, it's my favourite hotel and they make the best cocktails so that's where you'll find me being a hipster this weekend. i've only just finished unpacking from mallorca so i'm excited to catch up on projects and admin next week (yes for once i actually want to tackle my inbox?!) have a wicked weekend.. have you seen it yet? i enjoyed v. much. 10 cool ikea hacks (we all know i love ikea!) so topshop is killing it, just bought  this  and  this  for a/w. is this the next game of thrones? one of my fave halloween DIY's. how have i never seen this before? crying. back soon! caroline x

weekend! i'm heading to mallorca tomorrow, i've never been before so let me know if there is anything i should totally do. i don't know about you but the week before i go away is always a mad panic to get stuff done before i leave (feel like i need a holiday to recover from getting ready for holiday?!) i'm off to throw my stuff in a suitcase- have a wicked weekend! 100% obsessed with korean beauty packaging. first brexit now bake off, damn you! this is so true.. love these minimal tattoos. so this is making me pretty hungry! chat soon! caroline x
