happy weekend. did your week feel pretty manic too? i suspect it's going to be december before i know it and i haven't even thought about starting my christmas shopping yet! oh well, i'm officially taking some time off now because we're heading on babymoon part 1 next week- yay. i think most people tend to head to somewhere hot to relax on a beach but i'm dragging james to berlin cause it's been on my 'must visit' list for what feels like forever!

happy friday! looking forward a pretty chilled weekend -how about you? i'm going to hang out with my family, run some errands and maybe squeeze in an ikea trip eeeeeeee! this week has been quite manic so it will be nice to have a more low key agenda for the next few days. i might also dust off my apron and get my bake on because our apple tree has delivered a mammoth amount of fruit (enough to make at least 30 apple crumbles. send help...or custard?)

happy friday guys! this week has flown by right? i guess the bank holiday has something to do with it, that and the fact i got sucked into rewatching all the games of thrones episodes (again.) i'm going to ireland this weekend and i can't wait to see my family! we're also going to see our wedding venue for the first time since we booked it and my parents are coming along too- i think that's when it will sink in that i should probably start planning stuff at some point, yikes.

happy easter guys... oh boy do i love a bank holiday weekend. i'm really looking forward to easter sunday cause mum does the best dinners plus i get to hang out with my fave people. greetings from the land of meatballs (for once i don't mean ikea but it's close!) we landed in gothenburg today and i'm so excited i could weep. after falling in love with stockholm a while back we decided it would be the next destination on our swedish 'to do' list. it's pretty chilly so we're wearing a hundred layers, wooly hats and generally acting like tourists- YAY.  have a great weekend + here's some cool stuff on the internet! - you looking at me? - addicted to salted caramel anything. - totally doing this . - 10 apps to beat stress. - the annual coat hunt begins here. -  it this really a thing? talk soon! caroline x

oh friday you've been missed. i don't have many plans this weekend which i'm mega excited about, an uneventful weekend is the best sometimes! i'm going to get my eyes tested again tomorrow so i can (finally) get contact lenses- huzzah. i caved and put on my central heating last night, jon snow was right winter is coming so hot chocolate and candle burning is pretty high on my agenda the next few days. i feel like i should go shopping for winter things too, you know like cosy socks and blankets. i get excited about that stuff so maybe i'll sneak that in somewhere...? have a lovely couple of days! -  coolest (+ slightly creepiest) soaps ever. - i can't even, this really tickled me. - leah is making me want to book a road trip. - so bad/good.  - learn how to say no more often! - dang, why can't we vote for her? back soon caroline x

gah, can't believe it's october already! we have another wedding to attend tomorrow so i'm heading to london tonight (yay.)  i'm mega excited to get to the hoxton, it's my favourite hotel and they make the best cocktails so that's where you'll find me being a hipster this weekend. i've only just finished unpacking from mallorca so i'm excited to catch up on projects and admin next week (yes for once i actually want to tackle my inbox?!) have a wicked weekend.. have you seen it yet? i enjoyed v. much. 10 cool ikea hacks (we all know i love ikea!) so topshop is killing it, just bought  this  and  this  for a/w. is this the next game of thrones? one of my fave halloween DIY's. how have i never seen this before? crying. back soon! caroline x

weekend! i'm heading to mallorca tomorrow, i've never been before so let me know if there is anything i should totally do. i don't know about you but the week before i go away is always a mad panic to get stuff done before i leave (feel like i need a holiday to recover from getting ready for holiday?!) i'm off to throw my stuff in a suitcase- have a wicked weekend! 100% obsessed with korean beauty packaging. first brexit now bake off, damn you! this is so true.. love these minimal tattoos. so this is making me pretty hungry! chat soon! caroline x

i don't have any concrete plans for this weekend... yay.  we've had loads of parties and weddings to go to recently so it's nice to have a few days where i can do things in my own time. i'm taking part in a memory walk for alzheimer's society , after that i'll go for coffee, buy some flowers, potter around the market.. nice stuff i haven't managed to do for a while (can't wait.) hope you have a lovely w/end. -  omg, could not be more excited to watch this.. i love theroux! - whoever created this is my spirit animal. - seen this series yet? fri-yay, oh man i've been looking forward to this weekend! i'm dedicating saturday to mega boring things i secretly like doing- cleaning the house, reorganising my wardrobe and FINALLY getting a carpet quote for our stairs and hallway (we've been saying we'll get a new one for 8 months!) i'm also thinking a pamper night could be on the cards, mani, pedi, face masks -all the fun stuff. sunday we're going to a christening which will be super cute, i haven't really thought about what to wear.. can i wear smart jeans with a blazer? too casual? maybe i'll have a rummage through my clothes rails there must be something tucked away i've forgotten about.. have a great weekend! this DIY is a must for crafters! this week's shoe crush.. loafers i'd definitely make one of these.. furoshiki is so cute (and good for gift wrap too) this introduced me to a few new podcasts! back soon caroline x

phew... made it to another weekend! this week has been busy but fun- i went to the seaside for a few days with my mum, sister and the kids which was ace. however this morning i managed to delete every project i'd photographed in the last 2 weeks (IDIOT ALERT) so i'm now waaaay behind on work and freaking out a little! so apart from retaking a million photographs this weekend i'll be heading to a birthday shindig, running errands and spending some quality time with my second family (the kardashians- don't judge.) hope you have a great few days! cutest DIY holiday invite! really enjoying this podcast . must. not. eat. this. for your walls.. and for your ears! back soon caroline x

august! ermm how did that happen? this week went super quick - did you catch me on tv? it was a v. quick 2 slots so not half as cringe-inducing as i expected. mum and dad were mega excited and proud which is always the best feeling. the easier projects were my fave- my sister made the dog bed yesterday and loves it! i like to keep things lighthearted on here but yesterdays events in france have made me feel quite sombre today. i think i'm just going to focus on appreciating the happy moments this weekend- those little things i can take for granted. spending a candlelit evening with james in the garden, walking to the market to buy fresh flowers, playing songs i cherish on the record player and those huge hugs my parents give when i've not seen them for a few days. i'm going to fill my days with those good things. hope you all have a lovely weekend.. - undisclosed podcast have a new case for series 2 . -  printable paper? kinda cool. - need a GOT refresher? - gorgeous minimal homes. - on the 'to cook' list. - a pretty and practical DIY to bookmark. caroline x

this week flew by didn't it? we spent a good portion of it battling flat pack ikea furniture but finally finished the spare room (hurrah) just in need of some cute cushions and little accessories to dress it properly before people come for sleepovers! i'm trying to keep this weekend low key and avoid making any big plans- other than heading out for dinner tonight i'd just really like to get few projects finished and spend some quality time with my favourite people. have a great weekend! -  70 blogs to inspire creativity . -  simple but useful! -  these are made from old mattresses.. genius. -  have my eye on this snazzy little number. - craving these (both ways.) - seriously enjoyed this documentary. back soon caroline x
