(oh dear) brickwork aside I've been having one of my ocd induced cleaning sessions and rediscovered this cath kidston skirt that I nabbed in the sale last year.. huzzah! I also unearthed £1.70 and half eaten refresher bar so all in all a very productive afternoon. the crop tee is from topshop, I love a good summer basic so I've picked up a few of these and as always first on my list was grey marl, I do love a grey tee! the straw bag is an oldie from claire's accessories, I probably should have stopped visiting that shop when I hit 16 but I'm rather glad I didn't for this bag alone!  I've got an afternoon with a pair of pliers and chains lined up (I'm not about to get 50 shades on you; it's just a jewellery D...

you know when you buy something new and you wear it to death within a week... yes that's me and my new skirt!  I finally had to part with it to the washing machine... I'm already suffering withdrawals (send help) I've been so busy praying for the sun to arrive I hadn't even considered what to wear when it landed! I love forever 21 for vests and little summer tops, they're so affordable it's easy to justify buying a few items to perk up my wardrobe! luckily I'd picked up this vest last month so when I popped out for lunch I paired it with my new denim number, a truck load of bracelets and one of my favourite vintage bags.  light wash denim skirt:  river island vest:  forever 21 vintage bag:  the little deer eagle necklace: topshop sunglasses: h&m  ring, watch, belt & leather bracelets: urban outfitters leather gladiator sandals:  new look we stopped off for lunch in one of my favourite spots, cheesy pineapple & mushroom goodness ensued....

I am so in love with this dress....  in truth I'm so infatuated that if we broke up I would most probably stalk it's facebook page. photographs just don't do justice to this french connection  anoushka dress; it's an absolutely gorgeous creation and my new favourite summer companion. I'm so impressed with their dresses if you haven't seen their new collection probably best warn you not to click  here  as you'll not be able to help falling for at least 3 of them ...wink! covered in broderie anglaise detailing with a drop waist it's super feminine and makes me want to nip off to coachella immediately for some festival fun. oh my, I'm in love with sandals and socks.  who am I and when did this happen...? confession, I've been hoarding frilly socks for months. I blame my enthusiasm for wearing them at every opportunity for my latest fashion crush. I'll look back at this picture when I'm 40 and wonder what head trauma I must have suffered to have pulled a sock/sandal combo but for now I'm loving it -older wiser me be dammed. whilst we're on the subject of crushes, I spotted this navy skirt in primark complete with pockets (my saviours as they keep my hands from fidgeting!) before I knew it I was officially the owner of yet another  piece of heart print clothing, it's a hard habit to shake folks.  fingers crossed the weather stays nice; I have a lot more novelty socks and ice creams to get through! not for ponies cat face tee: (old)  the little deer   navy heart print skirt: primark lion head belt:  urban outfitters bag: h&m sandals: topshop socks: 3 for £8 at...

every month there's one item I decide is completely logical/utterly necessary for me to buy; this month it was this topshop denim pini dress. at the minute I'm obsessed with 90's dungaree-esque attire & I harbour a secret love of buttons so this dress ticked a few 'I must own you' boxes. I've tried on a few versions of these pinafores but I loved the loose and slouchy fit of this one, perfect lounging attire! my love of western fringing continues too, today with this gorgeous la moda  boho messenger bag (this is my new go-to festival bag for 2013) chic yet laid back; my favourite combination!  today I've been in london working on a very exciting project that I'll share with you soon (promise!)
