oh my, I'm in love with sandals and socks. 

who am I and when did this happen...?

confession, I've been hoarding frilly socks for months. I blame my enthusiasm for wearing them at every opportunity for my latest fashion crush. I'll look back at this picture when I'm 40 and wonder what head trauma I must have suffered to have pulled a sock/sandal combo but for now I'm loving it -older wiser me be dammed.

whilst we're on the subject of crushes, I spotted this navy skirt in primark complete with pockets (my saviours as they keep my hands from fidgeting!) before I knew it I was officially the owner of yet another  piece of heart print clothing, it's a hard habit to shake folks. 

fingers crossed the weather stays nice; I have a lot more novelty socks and ice creams to get through!

I have a date with some dough this afternoon, I've decided to flex my (slightly out of practice) culinary muscle to knock up some pizzas.

last nights pinot grigio has killed me ..this could go very wrong.
