as you may or not know I'm on holiday this week (it's my birthday trip to new york hurrah!!) it feels really strange scheduling a post in advance as I usually write them on the day but here I am (...sort of!) I love packing for holiday; I'm always torn at what to bring with me but I'm being pretty strict this time (must. not. go. over. luggage. allowance. caroline!) I wanted to bring my everyday make up with a few extras to ramp up my look in the evening! I love peeking into my friends make up bags so I hope you guys enjoy this post! so here's a little run down of the contents of my travel make up bag! 1. mac lady danger lipstick : this is my all time go-to red lipstick for nights out & cocktails! 2. illamasqua precision ink in havoc: this is my current most used ink eyeliner and lasts through the day without smudging! 3. maybelline dream touch concealer: this is my favourite concealer for touching up dark circles. perfect for early morning flights...zz...
I've rounded up a some bits and bobs I've been a fan of this week! as you can see it's a rather random assortment (forgive me!) but I don't have time to post about them all and I think they're worthy of a thumbs up! 1. primark socks : I've been buying topshop frilly socks for a few months now (too cute to resist) I just discovered that primark are selling pairs for £1.50! I'm so fickle I switched my frilly sock allegiance immediately, sorry topshop! 2. barry m gelly polishes and confetti nail effects : I've purchased a few gelly polishes over the last two months and I'm really impressed with them. I find them a little slow to dry but the opacity is really good and some only need one generous coat for good coverage! the confetti effects in dolly mixture are adorable I LOVE it! it isn't like a glitter polish it's more like having tiny feathers on your fingertips, big fan! 3. paperchase stickers : I added another batch to my collection this wee...

I'm so late to the party on this one (call myself a nail art blogger huh?) I love painting my nails but not everyone has the time or inclination for fancy pants nail art so this is a great one which takes no skill at all (seriously even my boyfriend could master this one!) start off with a base colour, I've was given this lovely peppermint rimmel polish for some recent nail features so I decided to give it a whirl! I'm not sure why but I barely own ANY rimmel polishes, I have my favourites and I tend to stick with them so poor old rimmel hasn't had a look in for a while now. I've seen quite a few glowing reviews on them lately especially these salon pro offerings; now I've tried one I would totally purchase these in future as they're under a fiver and it hasn't chipped once (watch out ...
